Fort Antoine Theatre: Clara Ysé Concert

Fort Antoine Theatre – 2024 Season continues with Clara Ysé Concert on Tuesday 23 July 2024, at 9.30 pm.

Clara Ysé has taken inspiration from Virgil’s Aeneid for the title of her album (“et ruit oceano nox”, “and the night rushes from the ocean”), a phrase previously borrowed by Victor Hugo in a poem dedicated to sailors lost at sea. Fiery horses, fairytale syncopation. It’s said that the poem began life as a song. Like every myth, this one’s origins have become lost in the mists of time.
