A Gala to Mark 30 years of Monaco-China Relations

The Monaco-China Association and Monaco Dragon Prestige are organizing, with the support of the Embassy of Monaco in China, a gala evening at the Fairmont Hotel on January 24 at 7 pm. The event celebrates the Chinese New Year, which will begin 5 days later, but also three decades of diplomatic relations. 2025 will be the year of the wooden snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation and prosperity in Chinese astrology.

The programme for this event, which will combine culture and gastronomy, includes: dragon dance, traditional Chinese music and dance, calligraphy, etc. Popular songs, particularly Chinese, will accompany the dinner which will take place after the speech by Marie-Pascale Boisson, Monaco’s ambassador to China.
