29th Monaco International Judo Tournament

The Monegasque Judo Federation and the Judo Club of Monaco are organizing on Sunday December 8, 2024 the 29th edition of the Monaco International Judo Tournament (TIJM) – Gérard Bertrand Trophy, one of the leading team tournaments in international judo.
In this team event, you will have to win 4 fights in each match to beat the opposing team. Each of the 7 fighters of the teams involved represents a weight category (-60kgs, – 66kgs, – 73kgs, – 81kgs, -90kgs, – 100kgs, and +100kgs).
At the end of the draw, the teams will be divided into groups where they will face all the teams in their group. The teams ranked first in each group will face each other in the semi-finals. Each team will have at least 3 fights during the day.
This 2024 edition will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Monegasque Judo Federation for its President Sophie Vincent, the President of the Judo Club of Monaco Jean Pierre Siccardi and the Tournament Director Marcel Pietri.
The list of participants will be announced at the beginning of December and we should find there the nations used to the Monaco stage with France, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the clubs of the French elite.

Competitions start at 9 a.m.
1⁄2 Finals from 2:30 p.m.
Match for 3rd place: 3 p.m.
Final: 4 p.m.
Parking: Stade Louis II (flat rate)
