1st edition of the “Festival of the Oceanographic Museum”

The Association of Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (AAMOM) is organizing the very first edition of the “Festival of the Museum” which will take place on April 27 from 10am to 7pm. A whole day of activities on the theme of ocean preservation. Workshops, conferences, artistic performances will come to animate this big popular festival!

Highlight of this day: the opening of the “Sea Turtle Odyssey” to the public, a new open-air awareness area, built in the extension of the Museum on nearly 550 m2, tracing the great sea turtle adventure: from their life cycle to threats to their existence, from the magic of spawning to the actions taken to preserve them. At the heart of this new area, the Monegasque Center for the Care of Marine Species (CMSEM) will allow the management of sick or injured specimens.
