We have been relatively fortunate this summer. Indeed the unseasonably hot weather may have slowed the recurrence of the virus. That beneficial situation cannot be expected to last forever. So the Government is starting to ask us to exercise common sense and take precautions.
The summer breeding season is almost over and the Rainier III Animal Garden is celebrating many new births and one unfortunate death this season. The Garden first welcomed a group of Lyle's Fruit Bats in 2016 from Biotropica in Normandy.
