Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene inaugurate new SPA Animal Shelter

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene officially inaugurated the new SPA animal shelter, located in the commune of Peille, on Monday 16 September. Princess Charlene is the President of the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA) of Monaco.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Mayor of Peille, Cyril Piazza, as well as other Monegasque and French authorities and employees of the SPA of Monaco. The event marked a key step in the Principality’s commitment to abandoned and mistreated animals.

Charles Leclerc came heartbreakingly close to securing victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, but a combination of strategy, tyre wear, and a resilient Oscar Piastri left the Ferrari driver settling for second place. After the Netflix series took the world by storm, Squid Game is making its European debut in a new way at the Casino Café de Paris. New Squid Game slot machines were inaugurated during a grand event on 14 September, with 30 dancers dressed as guards and a DJ dressed as Hwang In-ho, the game master in black. Unveiled as a European preview, the launch party saw one of the players win a jackpot of 35,798 euros.
